Main battle Tank:The M808 Scorpion is an armored attack vehicle that has been in service for more than 30 years, and serves as the UNSC's main anti-vehicle platform. The M808B is considered light by standard definitions but has served as the UNSC's main battle tank well before the Human-Covenant War. Its separate four track tread design allows it to traverse any terrain with little to no difficulty, this design also keeps the vehicle from being easily disabled. The rest of the body is very simple in design, with the tanks main weapon located at the back of the vehicle. The M808B only requires a crew of one, with complete weapons control allocated to the driver, however variants of the M808B exist with a required crew of two, a pilot and a gunner to operate the tanks machine gun. The Scorpion's chassis is covered with heavy titanium-ceramic armor plating, making it incredibly resilient to small-arms fire; however, it's still possible for infantry-portable anti-armor weapons to inflict catastrophic damage.

The Scorpion is equipped with two weapon systems. The 90mm High Velocity Cannon -- the M808B's main weapon -- fires 90mm Tungsten Armor Piercing Ballistic Capped Rounds at incredible speeds, with a three-to-four-second delay between each round. The second weapon system is the 7.62mm AP-T Medium Machine Gun, used for engaging infantry. The 90mm cannon, although the standard weapon on the M808, could be considered "light", compared the 105mm cannon that can be mounted for greater offensive power[4].

Albatross:From its general design and structure, it seems to be a dedicated cargo dropship for vehicles, crates, weapons and raw supplies such as hydrogen for the ground units in the field, rather than possessing any combat capabilities. It appears suited more towards ferrying supplies to a planet's surface once a landing zone has been secured, as vehicles such as the Pelican have a more aggressive nature and can also double as gunships[2].

The Albatross has a large cargo bay. It is capable of transporting multiple vehicles at a time. Once it has landed, it lowers three metal ramps holding the bay, allowing its cargo to be unloaded. Both times the Albatross has been seen, it can be used as a makeshift base, indicating that it may also serve as a mobile field command post for the UNSC[3].

Cougar:The Cougar is a lightweight, fast and highly flexible, versatile AFV constructed by the UNSC Although heavy armor fire would eventually blow the Cougar away quite easily, this vehicle was highly effective holding and fending off enemy armored vehicles while slower friendly armored units were in transit to the battlefield. The Cougar had gained infamy in several urban tactical situations prior to the deployments in the war against the Covenant. [1]

It appeared as a somewhat standard armored fighting vehicle with two wheels up front and two pairs in the rear. It bore a small mounted turret armed with two auto-cannons, as well as a machine gun or grenade launcher on other concept art. There was a windscreen on its forward body, with two side windows to provide a fairly high amount of visibility for the driver, which would have proved useful.

Cyborg:The Cyclops is a bipedal exoskeleton used by the UNSC Marine Corps during the early years of the Human-Covenant War. While it was originally intended for construction and other noncombat purposes, it was repurposed for combat against the Covenant for deconstruction proficiency on Covenant building structures.[1] The modification for combat included additional armor plating around the operator and joints, and specialized equipment for demolishing enemy fortifications. The Cyclops is available only if Sgt. John Forge is the leader.

Pelican Dropship:The D77-TC Pelican is mainly responsible for the rapid infiltration and extraction of troops. They also deliver vehicles and equipment to the battlefield, when required. The D77-TC has been in service for over 50 years, and is the primary tactical support aircraft of the UNSC. The Pelican serves a multi-role purpose, it is fully capable of atmospheric flight and can land almost anywhere without difficulty, the Pelican is also capable of limited spaceflight, which the UNSC uses as a primary way of delivering troops to the surface from orbit. Standard armament consists of one Class 3 externally powered projectile weapon at the fore of the vehicle, and one Class 1 gas operated projectile weapon mounted at the rear, in the extended crew area. More heavily armed variants exist, with multiple and more powerful weaponry. [6].

The Gremlin: Combat Support Vehicle is a combat support vehicle used by the UNSC Marine Corps during 2531, during
the early years of the Human-Covenant War. It has been seen engaging enemies with its roof-mounted EMP gun[1]. It is a Special Purpose Vehicle, whose special ability is to temporarily disable non-infantry units

The Rhino: seems to be a similar looking tank to the Scorpion Tank, with several differences. While it has a similar bogey set up for its tracks, it has six track sets. It's also greater in size, has a more robust gun turret, and an even more unconventional track layout. The tracks are in similar places to the Scorpion, but then there are two sets behind the vehicle, possibly providing better support for the large gun in front. There are also two stabilizers that deploy from the rear of the vehicle during long range bombardment.

Warhthog:The M12 LRV Warthog is the UNSC Light Reconnaissance Vehicle, used for its scouting capacity, or as an integral part of a mechanized infantry unit; the M12 has been a part of the UNSC's armored vehicle fleet for 50 years, and is the most recognizable vehicle in their arsenal.

The M12 is a four wheel all-terrain vehicle capable of going over any obstacle without difficulty; under the hood the M12's power is generated by a forward-housed low-profile liquid-cooled hydrogen-injected ICE I/C plant. The hydrogen fuel is burned at very high temperature with a synthetic carbon/silicon catalyst to achieve even better fuel consumption. This hydrogen engine is the standard among all UNSC ground based vehicles, replacing fossil fuel based engines some 400 years ago. The M12 features a Graf/Hauptman solar/saline actuator, and will convert up to 12 liters of fresh, brackish or salt water into hydrogen on the fly, this allows the Warthog to travel 790 kilometers or 490 miles before it needs to be refueled. Detritus is compacted on board. The M12 is a huge, unwieldy, difficult to steer vehicle – until a user learns how to drive it properly. With proper application of the hand, or “e-brake” the M12 can actually turn on a dime. Massive disc brakes and its automatic braking systems, allow the vehicle to come to a near immediate, but controlled stop should the driver be ejected, or choose to leave the vehicle. The Warthog's tires, have moved away from previous inert-gas pocket inflation, with equally burst-proof single unit nanotube skeletons. They provide the buoyancy and ride of gas-pocket tires, but are almost indestructible. The relatively massive tires are a joint project between Michelin-Vance and AMG.[1]

Rocket hog:The M12's design places it into the jeep family of vehicles; it has no doors and has a total seating of three. The M12, although deemed a reconnaissance vehicle, is at best an understatement; the M12 is fully capable of both offensive and defensive capabilities. The M12 can also serve as a support vehicle, or a transport vehicle. The M12 can be armed with a wide variety of equipment, however, its main armament is the M41 Light Anti-Aircraft Gun, the mounted weapon includes a battery for short term operation separated from the vehicle, but normally operates on the vehicle’s power supply. A M68 Gauss Cannon can be mounted on the back of the M12, making it capable of taking on light armor.
The M12A1 Warthog is exactly the same as the standard M12 Warthog LRV, except for a few differences:

1. It has yellow paint stripes lined through the base, to distinguish it from the standard M12 Warthog. It is also painted black, different to the normal color of a normal Warthog, which is a metallic olive. The seats are also yellow.

2. It is armed with a 102mm SC-HE Rocket Turret on the back seat. The turret can shoot three surface-to-surface rockets before reloading, but like all projectile weapons, it must be reloaded when the magazine capacity is depleted. The reloading time takes about four seconds, similar to the reload time of a Scorpion in Halo: Combat Evolved.

3. The tires are a darker colour to those of the standard Warthog.

Mongoose:The M274 Mongoose ULATV is one of the fastest and most maneuverable ground vehicles in the arsenal of the UNSC Marine Corps. It is a highly effective vehicle for reconnaissance, rapid transportation, swift tactical versatility, and for shooting between positions. A smaller cousin to the ubiquitous M831 Troop Transport, the Mongoose is a small ATV capable of carrying a driver in the middle of the vehicle, and features a rear platform that can be used to carry one additional passenger. Because it carries no armament of its own, having a passenger is usually essential if engaging in a combat zone. Due to its smaller size, the Mongoose is a difficult target for both slow and fast moving enemy weaponry, as opposed to the Warthog, whose size is somewhat substantial

Elepahnt:The Elephant is a mobile command base and repair vehicle and is able to pull an entire Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine by itself. It can hold as many soldiers as you want to ride in it, and a Mongoose spawns in its forward hold. It is armed with a forward M41 LAAG on the top right and a AIE-486H Heavy Machine Gun on the mid left.[5] It is a three-story vehicle [6] with the bottom story, the respawn locale that opens out into the rear cargo tray, the second story, a walkway around the cargo ramp and leads onto the driver's cabin then a small, elevated third story where the M41 LAAG is assembled. It features a crane, numerous firing ports and elevated positions for defending it.[7] It has four tracks set up on each side of the chassis. Its chassis is as high as they are wide, providing stability

troop transport:It neither mounts a M41 LAAG, a 102mm SC-HE Rocket Turret, nor a M68 Gauss Cannon, like most other Warthog models, but instead simply having room for several personnel in the rear section along with one driver and a passenger in the front seat.[3] The Troop Transport relies on its passengers for any defensive or offensive assets. Because of this, it is normally considered far less powerful than its counterparts. However, with three extra soldiers instead of only one gunner, more allies could be killed, and you can still fire back at the enemy instead of being vulnerable with only one gunner. Also, its roll cage appears to be made of several metal beams, unlike normal roll cages.

Longsword:Repeatedly described as a space fighter or interceptor, intended to engage enemy fighters, dropships, and boarding craft in route to their capital-ships, Longswords have also been seen in a variety of roles, making for an extremely versatile craft. It is relatively inexpensive to produce. They are capable of holding their own even against technologically superior fighters used by the Covenant, using missiles and cannons to deal tremendous firepower (without having much in the way of defenses) and with a skilled pilot, may even be superior to the Covenant fighters, and escorting UNSC dropships as they deliver their passengers/various cargoes to planet surfaces or larger ships[2][3]. They are also used in attack runs against Covenant capital ships, delivering high-yield missiles[4], Shiva nuclear warheads[5], or even free-floating Moray space mines,[6] to or near their targets. Sometimes, they are used as bait, such as the case with Captain Wallace.[7] They can also be used in planetary environments by functioning as fighter-bombers, destroying ground targets from the air[8][9], and escorting larger capital ships such as Frigates, Halcyon-class Cruisers, or Marathon-class Cruisers in their own assaults.

Shortsword:The Shortsword-class Bomber is a UNSC atmospheric bomber used primarily for short-range, heavy payload bombing runs against enemy ground targets, especially Covenant forces. It shares a similar "sword" codename to the Longsword-class Interceptor. The bombers were in use by the UNSC by at least 2531.

Frigate:With current human technology, the UNSC Frigates are barely a match for even the smallest of Covenant starships. It is outrun even by smaller Covenant ships, its armor is susceptible to enemy pulse lasers and plasma torpedos, and it is outfitted with substandard weaponry. Only en masse does the UNSC Frigate give any United Nations Space Command fleet element an advantage in the war against the genocidal Covenant. Needless to say, even a Covenant Frigate is more than a match for its UNSC counterpart.

Cruiser:At 1.17 (a reference to the number 117) kilometers in length and one-third the tonnage of the succeeding Marathon-class Cruiser, the Halcyons were the smallest of vessels to be designated and structured as cruisers. Compared to later ships, the original Halcyons were sorely underpowered and under gunned: their Mark II fusion engines provided but a tenth of the output of modern reactors and their armament consisted of a mere six Archer Missile pods and a single MAC gun.

The most noteworthy design feature was a series of internal cross bracings and honeycombs that made the ships surprisingly resistant to battle damage; ships of the class were able to remain operational despite sustaining breaches to all compartments and losing 90% of their armor
Cruiser v2:These behemoths, ranking in at 1,200 meters, are over three times the length of a UNSC frigate. They are also known for their heavy armor; they can survive multiple plasma impacts, being able to sustain far greater damage than any UNSC Frigate or UNSC Destroyer. Due to their size, durability and firepower (Magnetic Accelerator Cannons as well as dozens of oversized Archer missile pods), these massive vessels are commanded by UNSC Admirals and primarily serve as command/capital ships.
