ODST Armor

The helmet of the suit has a dark protective plate with matte black titanium armor surrounding it. The suit itself is black around the torso with a black and gray camouflage pattern around the legs. The boots and gloves are also black. There are often ad hoc additions on the shoulder plates, such as various color flashes or the blood type of the ODST in question. There are also several variations to the ODST armor including Ranged, Close Quarters, and Recon; each designed for different missions. The armor's faceplate can also apparently polarize, eyes can be seen behind the face-plates before they darken, assuming the characteristic look. The Helmet has a few visions it can use as well, night, electronic, and heat. The Body Suit is lightweight and offers protection in hard vacuum ((Space, etc.)). It supplies more armor protection than standard Marine armor, and incorporates an enhanced communications suit. Along with the protection and communications gear, the Body Suit provides increased agility and maneuverability not afforded by standard Marine Armor. The suit has an automatic-centering and tracking system for identified hostile targets. hick sole rubber boots with special insulin with support for outerspace conditions. Boots also have ability to withstand extreme heat of atmosphere re-entry. Helmet has ability to act as shielder from high concentrations of light and sound. Chest plate has bullet deflecting alloys, and heat resistant surfaces. Armor plating also has plasma absorbency, making it less vulnerable to plasma weapons. The Body Suit's helmet can withstand several head-shots. The armor’s black coloring gives wearers an advantage at night, in space, and during Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), as well as providing a psychological effect on hostile forces. The suit also protects against the extreme heat created by the HEV's that ODSTs enter a planet in. Unfortunately, the suit's general complexity leads to complications. Over prolonged periods of time the suit will become very uncomfortable to wear, and is difficult to repair in the field. Its effectiveness is decreased in desert or arctic environments where harsh light and sparsity of dark colors makes the suit less of a camouflage and more of a target indicator; though they have made specialized suits for different environments, such as a white one for an arctic terrain, or a dark green one for the forest, but this is only available to Kaiden and a few other chosen ODST's. Despite being improved over the standard armor, it is still vulnerable to plasma weapons and larger ballistic projectiles; e.g. rounds fired from Needlers and Brute Spikers; though no armor is protected against that. Though it is still very durable and will not be taken down easily.

{Skills/Strengths/Weaknesses}
Skills: He is an extremely talented singer, and guitarist. He is also a very skilled motorcyclist. Skilled at soccer. Expert Sniper. Proficient with any type of weapon.

Strengths: At the pinnacle of man in both mind and body, meaning he's a genius, very strong, very fast, very fit, etc. Can keep his cool in nearly any situation. He is extremely persuasive. Spartan I physical enhancements.

Weaknesses: His heart is darkened and black, being filled with a large amount of repressed hatred. But mainly towards Spartans and the Covenant, meaning that sometimes he may not aid a Spartan in battle, which could lead to the death of many allies.

{Personality}
Kaiden is very easily a ladies man, easily winning them over with his British accent and his stunning good looks. He is extremely flirtatious, but very slow to accept some one as his lover or friend. He is great at making friends due to his lovable personality, but it takes him awhile to actually care about them; but once he does he is willing to do nearly anything for them. Despite his dark past, He is funny and sarcastic fellow, known for having a bit of a foul mouth. He knows when to be serious, and he knows when to have fun. On a mission he is usually very serious, but is still known for making a few wise-cracks here and there to help lighten the situation up a bit. He is extremely wise beyond his years and gives some of the greatest advice. He's also known for saying some of the most bad ass one-liners. He is extremely persuasive and very influential, some say he was given the tongue of a god. When he is serious he can come off as a cold, rude and uncaring man, but he is usually only trying to get the job done, so try not to take everything he says to heart.

{Background}

Kaiden was born and raised in London England. Him and his older brother Christopher Jame's Alenko were mainly raised by his mother, Cynthia Vaughn Alenko, because his father had been apart of the UNSC and could not be home most the time. His relationship with his father was even stronger than the one with his mothers, despite the fact that they hardly saw each other. He loved his mother greatly, but nothing compares to the bond between a man and his father, his brother more than likely felt the same. Kaiden and his brother Christopher would constantly write his father letters while he was away, and his father would always do his best to return them. Kaiden and Christopher grew up idolizing his father, looking up to him and striving to become like him. Kaiden had always had a sibling rivalry with Christopher, constantly butting heads and fighting one another. They loved each other, but like any brothers, they fought, and quite often; the main reason they fought so much was to prove who was better, but they were dead equal, practically taking turns winning and losing to one another. Both Kaiden and Christopher joined the UNSC the very day they turned 18, though Christopher joined earlier than Kaiden due to the two year gap between them. Kaiden's father's full name according to the UNSC was Captain Daniel Kaiden Alenko, deceased at age 42 due to an error in the Spartan II program, his father was not the only man or woman to lose their lives to the Spartan II program. Kaiden was only 22 at the time, and his brother Christopher was 24. People who had survived the Spartan Program were lucky since the survival rate was no higher than twenty percent due to the intense surgery they put their bodies through, it was nothing short of inhumane. Unfortunately none of this knowledge was shared with the UNSC Marines who had volunteered or been picked for the program. This planted a dark seed into both of the boy's hearts, starting the growth of a deep hatred. Kaiden was more emotional about his father's death, crying over it and becoming depressed like anyone would after losing a loved one. Christopher did quite the opposite, bottling everything up and pretending everything was okay, even at his father's funeral he refused to cry, he never cried once for his father, not once. It didn't mean Kaiden loved his father more, no not at all, they both loved him very much. A few weeks after his father's death Kaiden approached Christopher, questioning him on why he didn't cry, or why he didn't care. Christopher was cold to his brother, telling him that father would have thought him as weak if he cried, trying to convince his younger brother that he was weak for doing so and if father was still around, Kaiden would have been a failure in his eyes. This angered Kaiden greatly, he wasn't as nearly as pissed off at his insults towards him as he was pissed off at the way Christopher represented their father. Their father was a kind and loving man who fought for his mother Earth with every ounce of his heart and soul. Their father was a man who wasn't afraid to show his emotions to the ones he loved, a true hero, a truly great man. Kaiden threw the first punch at his older brother Christopher, this was the start of their most violent fight ever. They fought each other for at least twenty minutes straight before it was broken up by their mother. By the time they were done they were both covered by bruises, scratches, and both their own blood and each others. They had truly gone out on one another, but luckily neither of them had any weapons with them at the time. The last words they ever exchanged to each were "I hate you!"...And that would be the last time Kaiden ever saw his brother. Christopher had decided to follow in his father's foot-steps and sign up for the Spartan II program, trying to carry on his father's legacy. Unluckily for him he also did not survive the Spartan II program either...Not to long after his death his mother received a letter in the male from the UNSC, letting her know that her son had died in the Spartan II program. Sargaent Christopher Jame's Alenko, deceased age 25. When Kaiden's mother delivered the news to him his reaction was different than before, darker and more like Christopher's when they had lost their father. He had to be strong for his mother, he was all she had left, and vice versa. He was forced to hold his crying, grief stricken mother in his arms for many hours. Kaiden wanted to cry, he truly did, but for some reason he couldn't, as if something wouldn't let him. Kaiden's heart blackened as darkness clouded his thoughts, he hated the Spartans and their stupid fucking program, he hated the Covenant for being the reason Spartan program's were created, and most of all, he hated himself. The last words he ever said to his brother were words of darkness and hatred, and the same was returned to him. He hated himself for not patching things up with him, now he would never be able to...His brother was gone, taken from him by the Spartan II program just like his father was. For the next few years of his life he shut himself off from the rest of the world, practically shutting down. In those years he signed up for only one program, but was forced into another. The ODST program, AKA "Hell Jumpers", and the Spartan I program. He truly had a strong hatred towards any Spartan or Spartan programs so getting him to sign up would be impossible. His superior, Captain George Howard Brett, knew Kaiden was one of the best soldiers to ever join the UNSC, so his Captain did what he thought was best for the war. He knew he couldn't get away with lying to him about the Spartan II program, so merely went for the Spartan I program. He had to wait for the right moment to trick Kaiden, and the perfect one arrived. Kaiden had been injured by a Hunter in combat, it hit him rather hard and caused some internal damage that would require surgery. They gave Kaiden some sedative's and fixed him up and while he was still unconscious, put him through the Spartan I program. When Kaiden awoke he felt normal, having no idea what he had just been put through, he merely thought he had just had his injuries fixed up. He continued his career with the UNSC, continuing to battle and fight the covenant like his father and brother before him, He would carry on their legacy, their name, their bravery, and their spirit. Their spirit would live on inside Kaiden...
